Health Effects of Smoking on Your Body -Adil's tutorial
Respiratory Complex Due to Smoking There are two types of smoking – active and passive):-
1. Active smoking:- Active smoking is when a smoker deliberately inhales the smoke emitted from a burning cigarette or bidi or bhurut directly into the lungs by blowing it into the mouth. Nicotine is a very harmful ingredient in cigarette smoke. It also contains other cancer-causing substances including tar (tr) and carbon monoxide.
2. Passive Smoking:-Part of the smoke that is dispersed into the surrounding environment during smoking and that smoke involuntarily enters the lungs through the inhalation of another person is called second-hand smoke. Secondhand smoke consists of a combination of smoke emitted through the nose and mouth of the smoker, smoke from burning cigarettes, bidis, cigars, etc. This smoke is also very harmful to humans Smoking is very harmful to health, especially to the lungs. Some of the harmful aspects of smoking are discussed below.
1. Emphysema:- results from cigarette smoke damage to alveolar walls and alveolar volume. Increases and in some places bursts and creates empty spaces in the lungs. This condition is called emphysema. In this disease, the breathing area of the lungs decreases and the elasticity of the lung cells decreases. It causes serious breathing problems.
2.Bronchitis: CO from cigarette smoke paralyzes the cilia of the trachea and brahmas. Normally the cilia are constantly swinging. It helps to keep the trachea or lungs free from dust and pathogens. But when the cilia become paralyzed, mucus accumulates in the trachea causing inflammation. It is called bronchitis
3.Tuberculosis:- Excessive smoking creates favorable conditions for tuberculosis.
4. Lung Cancer:- One of the main causes of lung cancer is smoking. Exists in tobacco smoke
Tar, polynuclear hydrocarbons, nitrosamines etc. are cancer causing substances.
5.pleurisy:- Pulmonary inflammation of the lung membrane (pura) is caused by the nicotine in tobacco. This causes swelling of the pleura and accumulation of lymph in its cavity causing fluid pooja, thereby obstructing breathing. It is called pleurisy.
6. Fibrosis: The walls of the alveoli in the lungs are normally thin. As a result of smoking, the walls become thicker, causing breathing problems. Its name is fibrosis (fibrosis).
7. Heart attack: CO is absorbed into the hemoglobin of the blood. This reduces the ability of color O, transport. CO helps cholesterol build up inside the arteries. As a result, the arterial lumen narrows or closes, reducing O supply. If this is the case in the arteries of the heart, it is a heart attack
8. Udgari cough: Many people have a severe cough and expectoration of mucus from the lungs due to smokingS een coming. It is called Udgari cough.
9. Chest Pain and Vomiting: Smokers experience chest pain due to abnormal coughing during excessive smoking And vomited.
10. COVID-19: Smokers have higher risk of death than non-smokers in patients with coronavirus. Because the lungs of smokers are damaged.
The only way to avoid the harm of smoking is to quit smoking. And for this Strong will is required.
