Blood circulation in human body
Blood is the source of vitality. Blood flows through the blood vessels throughout the body and supplies oxygen and nutrients to the cells. As a result, all the cells of the body remain alive and active. The system through which blood constantly circulates in different organs and parts of the body is called circulatory system. It is through the blood flowing in this system that food, oxygen and blood waste products are transported from one place of the body to another.
Blood flow in the human body is limited to the heart and blood vessels, never coming out of it. This type of circulatory system is called closed circulatory system. It takes only a minute or less for the blood to circulate all over the body once. The great advantage of a closed circulatory system is that
(a) Blood travels directly to different parts of the body.
(b) By changing the diameter of the blood vessels, the body can control the amount of blood flow to a particular organ in the corner.
c) The blood circulates in different organs and returns to the heart quickly. Although the circulatory system has special features compared to other systems, its structure is fairly common. The circulatory system is usually divided into two parts.
Circulatory system:-
It consists of the heart, arteries, veins and capillaries
Lymphatic system:-
Lymph, Consists of lymphatic and lactic acid.
