Computer | Introduction of computer

Introduction: The advent of mechanization has changed the way people think. Increased work and production capacity. With the help of science, man has easily brought the world under his grasp. Steam power, electricity and nuclear power are the latest in mechanical engineering and technology. As a result, by innumerable inventions, man has been twice as powerful with the help of machinery. Machines are first playthings of human hands. For the greater part of its working life, the machine that is ever ready to obey orders like a loyal servant is the computer. One of the groundbreaking wonders of computer science and the most modern invention.

Innovations and advancements: British mathematician Charles Babbage is credited as the father of computer inventions. It was his design of the mass machine that later inspired the creation of the computer. Babbage's plans for the mass engine were in the third decade of the 18th century. About a century later, electronic calculators were introduced to people through the combination of electronics and technology. The word computer is derived from the Latin word compuer

Computer and its function: Computer is like machine brain. A computer has three distinct parts - one: central processing unit, two inputs, three: outputs. All information related to any problem is processed by the 'Central Processing Unit.' 'Input' gives instructions containing data and 'Output' expresses results containing computation. All the information that the computer works with is called 'program'. The special language used to give information and instructions to the computer is called 'programming language'. The functionality and application area of   computer is wide. Because computers have very fast computing power, the ability to process and hold large amounts of information in the brain.

Computer and modern life: Computer is the most reliable friend of man in modern age. The computer can make the bank's cashier's committee in a very short amount of time and make him feel at home with the accuracy of billions of numbers. Planning and controlling production, hiring and firing workers, calculating profit and loss in large factories through computers. Railways, Airlines, Banks, Research Centers, Insurance etc. have unchallenged supremacy of computers. Publishing test results, finding criminals, finding old case documents and providing information, advertising - all these are now being done by the man-made machine-mogul. Computer-powered 'Canner' finds 'black box' of crashed plane in Atlantic Ocean The difficult tasks that are impossible for humans, the remote places that are inaccessible to humans - there is the application of computer, and its unimaginable success there. Computer is so essential in modern life. For the same reason, the contribution of computers to modern civilization is undeniable. Computer usage has become popular in Bangladesh as well. Computers are now mainly used in the printing industry and in bank offices and educational institutions in this country.

Computers, unemployment problems and employment:

The power of this machine monster is immense in the efforts of scientists. Their fear is that a time will come when the man-made monster will be made to work, when the monster, maddened by hunger for work, will enslave his creator. If you look at the words a little, the real truth becomes clear. The widespread application and use of computers will render large numbers of people largely unemployed. The machine will then be the player of the machine instead of being the player of man. As a result of taking away people's work, the country will be filled with unemployed people. The use of computers has already reduced the number of workers in offices, industries and various organizations significantly. However, on the other hand, computers are also creating many new jobs. Many people are also getting employment in the posts of operator, programmer, hardware engineer etc. Thus, although computers may create unemployment in some areas, overall it will create many employment opportunities.

Conclusion: Man cannot stay behind from the blessings of science. Access to modern technology is essential in third world developing countries today. It is not possible to stop the computer anymore. Inevitably, his arrival has happened all over the world. In that case, the field of application should be selected by acknowledging the actual situation of the country. It is through its application that we have to find new ways of employment. This wonderful discovery of the century will tell today which way is our success and which way is the cause of our backwardness. We are waiting for that day.
